“Another new product on the shelves this month that will definitely take the pressure off any frazzled cooks this Christmas is the new Dixie Cornbread Stuffing Loaf mix. The mix makes a loaf of cornbread with all the stuffing herbs in it. The only thing you would need to bother adding is some fresh roasted chestnuts to make it really special. After baking, the loaf just needs to be crumbled and then put into the turkey. Bought Awesome Beef stew Mix in butchers in Newport, Co. Mayo back in July, I think. Just got around to using it today. Fantastic! Brought me back to my childhood. I am in my 40s now and live in Dublin. Nearest stockist is Nolan’s in Clontarf. That’s where my mother shopped, walking up every day to get the special offers. She never learnt to drive.
